Have you ever wanted to learn classical Chinese dance, but didn't know how?
The Shen Yun Arts Proficiency Assessment Center is a new platform designed for those with artistic aspirations. Students can now learn to express themselves through the ancient art form of classical Chinese dance. Whether it's to nurture an early interest, fulfill a childhood dream, lay a foundation for a professional track, or establish artistic expertise to pass on, there's a course for everyone.
Students will be personally instructed by artists from Shen Yun Performing Arts and will receive the best, and most comprehensive classical Chinese dance training available today.
Aspiring dancers will learn fundamental techniques and movements, as well as how to express their inner feelings, tell stories, and depict characters from China's 5,000 years of traditional culture—through dance.
These specially designed certificate programs provide budding artists with systematic step-by-step training. The students start with the basics, progress into learning simple movements, and finally master a range of artistic skills.
A total of 10 levels encompass elementary, intermediate, and advanced stages. The programs are suitable for children starting at 7 years old, continuing all the way to teenagers and adults.
Beyond classical Chinese dance, additional programs will soon be added to the Arts Proficiency Assessment Center.
