Chia-Jung Lee vant University of Texas Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, andreprisen i National Young Artist Competition ved Mid-South Flute Festival og førsteprisen i Kaohsiung City Music Competition (Taiwan), og hun mottok Certificate of Recognition of Outstanding Doctoral Recital fra University of Texas Butler School of Music. Hun har en doktorgrad i fløyte fra University of Texas i Austin, en mastergrad fra Boston University og en bachelorgrad fra Sun Yat-Sen University (Taiwan).
